'SHROPDOC'

In an emergency, when the surgery is closed in the evenings and at weekends, a message is left on our surgery telephone to ring 'SHROPDOC' on 08450 20 21 31.

A trained nurse will assess your medical needs. If required, the nurse will arrange for you to be contacted to attend a timed appointment at Radbrook Green Surgery. Advice may be sufficient. If you are housebound or it would be inappropriate for you to travel, a home visit can be arranged.

The doctors who work for 'SHROPDOC' are trained general practitioners. Occasionally a registrar general practitioner will be on duty under the supervision of one of the local doctors. The details of the consultation are confidential and are forwarded to your surgery when it next opens.
